Darnell Williams

Darnell Williams, 78, of Conway, passed away Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024, at St. Vincent in Little Rock. He was born Oct. 7, 1946, in Joiner, to the late Willie Williams and the late Martha Rupert. Darnell dedicated his life to farming until his retirement and was a devout member of the Pentecostal faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Emmanuel Williams, Willie Williams and Tom Williams; and one sister, Augustus Facon.

Darnell is survived by his loving wife, Ora Williams of Conway; his sons, Ryan Williams of Panama City, Panama, Jarrod (Darlene) Williams of Panama City, Panama, Demond (Katrina) Williams of Conway, and Larry Buford of Osceola; his daughters, Itina Williams of Conway, Shanetta (Brandon) Tramble of Iowa City, Iowa, Whitney Buford of Paragould, and Brittany Buford of Osceola. He also leaves behind one brother, Fleming Williams of Indianapolis, Ind.; and two sisters, Teresa Thomas of Chicago, Ill., and Cornelius Banks of Joiner; along with 42 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

In honor of Darnell Williams, a funeral service will be held Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025, at 10 a.m. at the Faith and Glory Christian Fellowship in Blytheville. Pastor Adrion Poole will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville.
