Samuel Alexander Allen Jr.
Samuel Alexander Allen Jr., born Dec. 26, 1986, in Blytheville, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 10, 2024. He was the beloved son of Barbara Ann Hatcher and the late Samuel A. Allen Sr. Growing up in Blytheville, Samuel embraced his roots and carried them with him throughout his life.
After completing his education at Job Corp in Little Rock, where he earned his GED and a certificate in plumbing, Samuel returned to Blytheville to begin building a life filled with love and purpose. In 2006, he began an enduring relationship with Kimberly Brimite that would span nearly two decades, a testament to their deep bond and commitment to one another.
As a father of three, he cherished daughter, Autumn Allen, and sons, Kayden and Demetrie Allen. Samuel found immense joy in family life. His children were not just part of his world; they were its center. He dedicated himself wholeheartedly to being a wonderful father; “family” was not just a word for him but rather the essence of who he was. His passion for fishing often led him outdoors where he’d share moments of tranquility with loved ones or simply enjoy nature’s beauty alone, music playing softly as background accompaniment during these cherished times spent relaxing at home or hanging out with friends.
Samuel’s professional journey led him to Hill Service and Boomer Environmental as a team leader specializing in environmental development. His dedication shone through both at work and within the community he loved so dearly.
He is survived by his life partner, Kimberly Brimite; daughter, Autumn Allen; sons, Kayden and Demetrie Allen; mother, Barbara Hatcher; sister; Tyisha (Tory) Stewart; nephews, Messiah Hodges and Samuel Allen; nieces, Tai’Mhariya Allen, Tori Stewart and Kennedy Allen; stepbrother, Willie Blackmon III; along with numerous uncles, Derrie (Ella) Hatcher, Jessie (Katy) Hatcher, Henry Lee Hatcher, Frank (Glean) Hatcher, James (Theresa) Hatcher; aunts, Tammie (Albert) Jones, Willine Moore, Vanessa Lewis, Alisa Allen, Beverly Allen and Denise Pennywell.
In death he joins those who preceded him: his father, Samuel A. Allen Sr.; baby sister, Julie Beth Hodges; and stepfather, Willie Blackmon Jr.
