Daniel Lee Bromley
Daniel Lee Bromley, 61, passed away peacefully on Dec. 3, 2024, in Blytheville. Born on June 18, 1963, in Frankfurt, Germany, Daniel was a man of great character, known for his loving nature, wisdom, and courage throughout his life.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Franklin and Margaret Pearl Payne Bromley, his father-in-law Clayton Watkins, and his sister-in-law Angie Renee Logston. He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion with his wife of many years, Connie Bromley, and their sons, Joshua Wayne Bromley, Donald Derrek Bromley, and his daughter-in-law Savannah. His memory will be treasured by his brothers, Richard Leroy Bromley (Cheryl) of Wichita, Kan., and Franklin Leroy Bromley of Huntsville, Ala. Daniel’s joyous spirit will live on through his beloved grandchildren: Aiden Dean, Brock Clay, Sophia Grace, Zoie Ray, Brantley Cole, Hazel Grace and Derrek Levi. His mother-in-law, Jeanette Watkins, along with numerous special relatives and friends, will fondly remember Daniel’s presence in their lives.
Daniel’s educational journey began with his graduation from high school, after which he pursued his passion for electrical work at a trade school. His dedication to his craft led to a fulfilling career as an electrician, from which he retired after many years of service at Nucor. Daniel’s commitment to his country was evident through his honorable service in both the United States Air Force and Army, a testament to his bravery and patriotism.
Beyond his professional and military life, Daniel had a profound love for working on the land he and his wife purchased, clearing trees and preparing it for building a dream house and homestead. His interest in World War II airplanes and military history was not merely a pastime but a deep-seated passion that he enjoyed exploring and sharing with others.
Daniel’s life was a reflection of the values he held dear. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. His wisdom guided his family through life’s challenges, and his courageous spirit inspired those around him to face their own trials with strength and resilience. His absence will be deeply felt, but the memories he created will continue to bring comfort and joy to all who knew him.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the Irby-Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Rector. Funeral Services will follow at Noon with Bro. Rick Ethridge and Bro. Keith Floyd officiating. Burial will be at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector.
