George Curtis Puckett Jr.
George Curtis Puckett Jr., 76, of Blytheville, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024. He was born in Brownsville, Tenn., the youngest of five children of George and Frances Puckett.
George is survived by his three children, Adrian Puckett, Tonya Puckett Watts and Laura Parker-Puckett; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marie Puckett Ross and Peggy Puckett Estes; his brother, Curtis Lee Puckett; and his sister, Jeanette Puckett Davis, preceded him in death.
After graduating from Jackson High School, he honorably served our country in the Air Force during the Vietnam War, earning several medals of honor. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked as an auto mechanic at Kerr McGee and spent time at Arkansas Razorback Concrete. In his free time, he continued his passion as an auto mechanic, helping family and friends.
George was known for his generous spirit and unwavering love for his family. Whether helping with car repairs, sharing fishing stories at Big Lake, or tending to his garden, he found joy in the simple things in life. His family will forever cherish these memories and the lessons he taught them about the value of hard work, dedication, and love for the outdoors. George will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
