Lyman Kelton Henson

Lyman Kelton Henson, 72, of Blytheville, passed away Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024, at his home.

Kelton was born in Blytheville to Lyman and Virginia Pepper Henson. He was a physician at multiple clinics over a 30-year period. Growing up, Kelton farmed with his father and became a nurse before going to medical school. He enjoyed swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, listening to music, and making people laugh and smile. Kelton was a loving husband to his wife and daughters.

In addition to his parents, Kelton was preceded in death by his wife, Gail Henson; and one brother, David Henson.

Kelton is survived by two daughters, Heather Henson of Blytheville and Lori Delbridge of Oklahoma City, Okla.; five grandchildren, Helaina Henson, Ginny Henson, Ryan Pruitt and wife Karissa, Cannon Holland and wife Emily, and Justin Schuelke; and three great-grandchildren, Rylee Pruitt, Cerri Schuelke and Lyla Schuelke.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, Dec. 1, at 2 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Billy Holifield officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
