Donald Ray Clower Sr.
Donald Ray Clower Sr., 59, of Blytheville, passed away Nov. 1, 2024, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born Dec. 27, 1964, in Luxora, he was the son of the late L.B. Wilson and Alice Mae Clower of Blytheville. Donald dedicated his career to Great River Medical Center, working in supplies, and proudly served as a retired veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a man of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, L.B. Wilson.
He leaves behind a loving family, including his mother, Alice Clower of Blytheville; two sons, WA “Dereck” Clower of the Philippines and Donald Ray Clower Jr. of Blytheville; two daughters, Tiffany Clower of Shelby, N.C., and Brieanna Clower of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; five brothers, Sylvester Stewart, Michael Clower, Chris Clowers, Larry Clowers, all of Blytheville, and Keith Clowers of Caruthersville, Mo.; two sisters, Marlene Davenport and Vickie McKinney, both of Blytheville; as well as nine grandchildren.
Services to honor Donald’s life will be held at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville on Nov. 16. Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m., officiated by Elder Keith Clowers of the Oasis Worship Center in Caruthersville, Mo. Burial will follow at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville.
