Donald Harry Eldridge
Donald Harry Eldridge, of Blytheville, passed away Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024 at St. Bernards Medical Center at the age of 70.
Donald was born to Cleveland and Olive Ilene Curtis Eldridge in Charleston, Mo. He was the head intake officer at the Mississippi County Juvenile Office. Donald’s favorite hobbies were watching football and YouTube, cooking, cleaning, camping, reading and telling jokes. His favorite holidays were Halloween and Christmas, and he enjoyed decorating for them. Donald cherished spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by a daughter, Amanda Sue Lloyd; and three brothers, Robert Cockrum, Lester Cockrum and Larry Eldridge.
Donald is survived by his son, Jack Lloyd, and wife Laura of Dell; three brothers, Dean Cockrum, David Eldridge, and wife Nancy of Van Buren, Mo., Thomas Eldridge, and wife Deborah of Warren, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Austin Chase Higgins, Austin Mitchell, Destiny Higgins, Mallary Wimberley, Savanna Lloyd, Emma Lloyd, Joshua Higgins, Cash Higgins and David Wright; one great-grandchild, Korbyn Wright; and a multitude of nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mitchell King officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
