Emma Lou Baltimore, 90, of Manila, passed from this life Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Van Buren, Mo., she was the daughter of the late George and Katie Garrison Cobble and had attended public schools in the Van Buren and Mountain View areas as a child. She had lived many years in Campbell, Mo., before making her home in Manila in 1976. Emma had attended the Assembly of God and the First Baptist Churches, both in Manila. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Baltimore; two sons, Leon Treat and Wayne Baltimore; one daughter, Diane Secrest; four grandchildren, Shanna Lacey Treat, Donna Davenport, Buford Barker III, and William Treat, Jr.; and two sisters, Birdie Lomax and Vinnie Ward.

Survivors include three sons, Donnie Treat (Pam) of Campbell, Mo., Perry Treat (Sharon) of Campbell, Mo., Jason Baltimore (Ginger) of Manila; five daughters, Nancy Barker (William) of Louisville, Ala., Donna Jones (Wayne) of Manila; Bonnie Foster of Manila, Jackie May (Eddie) of Manila and Marge Baltimore of Poplar Bluff, Mo. She also leaves 28 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, at Howard Funeral Service in Manila with Rev. James Chipman officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery. Pallbearers will include D.J. Treat, Chris Davison, Caleb Treat, Jake Baltimore, Carson Baltimore, Matthew May, Jeremiah May, and Shawn Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Versie Crews and Gage Foster.
