Henry Tyler of Osceola was born Jan. 6, 1959, in Osceola, the son of Chester Tyler and Elizabeth Davis Tyler. Henry was of a former employee of Lambert’s, where he was a delivery driver and was of the Baptist faith. Henry was a graduate of Osceola High School.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Janet Beecham-Johnson, and a grandson Keiland Woodson. He passed away Friday, Oct. 18, 2024, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro at the age of 65.

He leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Sharde Tyler of Jonesboro and Tyarie (Danny) McNeal of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Chester Tyler and Ervin Tyler, both of Osceola; nine sisters, Maxine ( George) Manning of Kansas City, Kan., Shirley Tyler, Addie Tyler, Dorothy Tyler, Alice (Edward) Arnold, all of Osceola, Marthy Tyler of Inver Grove Heights, Minn., Mary ( Joe) Jackson of Blytheville, Patsy Tyler-Weeks (Leroy) of Gosnell, and Shirley Burns of Kansas City, Kan.; five grandchildren, and a host of other relatives, family and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. until services begin at 11 a.m. at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, 513 South Carthon Street, Osceola, where Reverend Cleveland Cain is the pastor. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. with interment to follow in Whiteside Gardens Cemetery in Osceola.
