Lela Frances Gragg Tinsley Warren
Lela Frances Gragg Tinsley Warren, 72, of Marmaduke, former longtime Leachville resident, passed from this life Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024, at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tenn. Daughter of the late Wilbur and Jewell Hoke Gragg, she was born in Black Oak and raised in Buffalo Island. She was a 1971 graduate of Leachville High School and had worked in several areas of agriculture. Frances was a member of Marmaduke Cowboy Church and loved horses, gardening, fishing and canning. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband J.W. “Peanut” Tinsley, her second husband, Larry Warren, and a stepdaughter, Tammy Tinsley Duke.
Survivors include one son, Bobby Tinsley of Marmaduke; one daughter, Angie Tinsley Smothers (Jason) of Humboldt, Tenn.; six stepchildren, Sherry Tinsley Crum (Donnie) of Newbern, Tenn., Treasa Tinsley Austin of Jonesboro, John Warren (Stephanie) of Billings, Mo., Robert Warren (Vicky) of Raynham, Mass., Brandy Davison (Corey) of Jonesboro and Katie Biggs (Josh) of Green Cove Springs, Fla. Frances also leaves three grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several loved step-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Reverend Kim Bridges officiating. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery.
