Jean James Moore
Jean James Moore, 87, of Bloomington, Minn., passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, Sept. 29, 2024.
Jean was born in Burdette on July 8, 1937, and graduated valedictorian from Armorel High School in 1955. After graduation, she went to work at the FBI in Washington, D.C., as a fingerprint technician.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Otillion James; brothers, Bill and Mike; and sisters-in-law, Ruth D’onofrio (Phil-d) and Christine Beaver (Ed-d).
Jean is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Guy Moore; daughters, Terri (Patrick) Rogers and Sharon (Chad) Haines; grandchildren, Matthew (Laurel) Rogers and Amanda (Chris) Donajkowski; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Karrington, and Beckett; brothers, Robert (Odessa-d), Gerald (Mary), and Jerry (Denise); sisters, Peggy (Jake) Wilcom, Maureen Peterson, and Diane James; sister-in-law, Sandy James; and brother-in-law, Duane (Phyllis-d) Moore; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Oct. 26, at 11 a.m. at Portland Avenue United Methodist Church, 8000 Portland Ave. S., Bloomington, MN 55420. Memorials can be made to PAUMC.
