Jackie Lee Weeks

Jackie Lee Weeks, 73, of Harrison, formerly of Leachville, the widow of Mr. John Weeks, passed from this life Friday, Sept. 27, 2024, at The Springs at Mount Vista in Harrison. Daughter of the late Paul and Naoma McGraw Middleton, she was born in Manila and raised in Leachville. Jackie was a 1969 graduate of Leachville High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Education at Arkansas State University. She was employed by Weiner Elementary School as an elementary school teacher and was a stay-at-home mother when her son was born. She was a former member of The Jonesboro United Methodist Church before relocating to Harrison in 2015 where she made Harrison Church of Christ her church home. Jackie enjoyed collecting Barbie dolls and doing crossword puzzles.

Survivors include one son, Nicholas Weeks (Sophia) of Elkins; one granddaughter, Amelia Weeks; one brother, Jim Paul Middleton (Angie) of Maumelle. Jackie also leaves two nieces, Dr. Jennifer Middleton and Jessica Middleton, J.D.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 1 p.m. until service time on Tuesday. Friends may sign the online guest register at www.HowardFuneralService.com.
