Linda Sue Baldridge

Linda Sue Baldridge, 68, of Monette, passed away peacefully at St. Bernards with her two daughters by her side on Sept. 24, 2024. Linda was born Sept. 12, 1956, in Paragould.

Linda spent her younger years working as a sr. electrician and eventually settled in Craighead County in Monette for the remainder of her life. Anyone who knew “Momma Sue” knew that she loved her family, friends and spending free time finding good bargains.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Rose Hawkins, and her father, Linuel Eugene Baldridge, both from the Red Onion area.

Linda is survived by her two daughters, Sunshine Burke of Cherokee Village and Gwinda (Jordan) Wood of Monette; five grandchildren, Cory Wood, Coral Smith, Kana Nelson, River and Briar Wood; five great-grandchildren, Kate, Jesse, Butler, Crue and Lainey, which she absolutely adored; one sister, Diane Robertson Winkle; and nieces of Evening Shade.

There is no funeral services scheduled at this time; a celebration of life gathering will be held later in weeks to come.
