Maxine Louise Householder

Maxine Louise Householder, 87, of Trumann passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Susie (Tippett) Kraus; daughter Dana Berry; five sisters, Bertha Alford, Edith Penrose, Betty Davis, Pauline Gastons and Janet Brown; three brothers, Johnny Kraus, Paul Kraus and Richard Kraus.

Maxine was the heart of our home and family. Always sacrificing her needs for the good of her family. She will be remembered as a selfless, altruistic wife and mother who always had a smile, even when times were tough. Maxine had a quiet strength. Always supportive and encouraging, always wise and kind. She was so proud of her family.

Maxine leaves behind her best friend and husband, Floyd Householder of the home; her daughters, Heather (Brandon) Crites of Trumann and Peggy (Joe) Harrison of Jonesboro; her sons, Wayne Heller of Trumann, Robert (Emily) Householder of Payneway, Tim (Anna) Householder of Harrisburg, Gary (Sandy) Householder of Bangor, Mich., Nick (Cricket) Householder of Detroit, Mich., and son-in-law Sid Berry of Breedsville, Mich.; 19 grandbabies and many great-grandbabies; one sister, Linda (Leland) Rickets of Bangor, Mich., along with numerous nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.

In honoring Maxine’s wishes there will be a private family gathering at a later date so expressions of sympathy should be sent directly to the family.
