LBC announces first home improvement grant recipient

Jerred Price with the Leachville Beautification Corporation said they are excited to announce the very first home improvement grant winner, Ellen and Clifton Morris.

“They were in dire need of a new porch, with the fear of it falling in every time they walked out of their front door,” LBC founder/president Jerred Price said. “The porch was starting to rot and was very unstable. Now, they have a sturdy, safe porch to walk out onto.

“The purpose of this grant is to help those in need. Twice a year, we will award this grant to a local Leachville household. We are excited about this being our first, but can’t wait to help another family starting in January 2025! Beautification is more than flowers and lampposts. Beautification also means showing the beauty of a community through teamwork and being there for each other when needed.”
