BLYTHEVILLE - The City of Blytheville will participate in the Mississippi County Fall Clean-Up Saturday, Sept. 28.

The Blytheville Community Clean-up will be held from 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m. at 708 N. 6th Street (across from Sonic).

Items accepted will be furniture, appliances, empty paint cans, clothes/shoes and tires (no more than four per vehicle.

Items that will not be accepted include hazmat materials (propane tanks, gas cylinders, batteries, oils, fluids, flammables or corrosive items, etc.), building/construction materials and commercial tires/tires from businesses.

If someone has construction material and/or more than four tires they may haul those items straight to the Mississippi County Landfill on this day only. It will be free for individuals and businesses will receive a 50% discount.

City employees will be on-site to offer assistance unloading items into dumpsters.
