The Harrisburg Hornets (0-3) will host the Rivercrest Colts (3-0) in a 3A-3 conference match-up at Jordans Stadium in Harrisburg. Harrisburg is coming off a bye week and Rivercrest beat Forrest City 48-34 this past Friday.
The Hornets will look to Max Tracy to guide the offense with Hayden Anderson and Andrew England leading the ground game. Tracy will look to Jayvin Thompson, Remington Rapert and Evan Henley when he takes to the air. Luke Henley and Trenton Fitzgerald look to provide blocking on the line. Carvonta Washington guides the Colts’ offense after throwing for 136 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 181 yards and a touchdown.
Jayden Young had touchdown reception, 137 yards and three touchdowns rushing, returned an interception for a touchdown and recovered two fumbles.
Jakavion Williams had an interception for the Colts’ defense as Andrew Lomack finished with seven tackles, one tackle for loss and a forced fumbled Nolan Williams forced a fumble and Deizel Freeman recovered a fumble for the Rivercrest defense. Luke Henley and his brother Wyatt are good against the run and are good pass rushers. Fitzgerald, Henley and Fitzgerald are linebackers who can cover ground as England and Rapert roam the defensive backfield for the Hornets.
