Reba Faye Helms, 85, of Blytheville, passed away Friday, Sept. 20, 2024, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.

Born to Algie and Elizabeth Kirk Crotts, Reba worked at EOC Head Start in Blytheville for 30 years. Reba was of the Baptist faith and was a devoted member of Clear Lake Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed working outside in her yard, and shopping at thrift stores. Reba loved spending quality time with her family and enjoyed the companionship of her pet cats and dogs.

In addition to her parents, Reba was preceded in death by her husband, Garfield Helms, Jr.; three daughters, Lisa Renee Helms, Teresa Cannon and Kimberlee Stevens; one grandson, Gregory Steven Rush; and one granddaughter, Teena Cannon.

Reba is survived by her children, Bobbyie Jacoby and husband David of Hardy, Franklin Helms Sr. and Carol of Blytheville, Angelia Crowe and husband Charles of Armorel; a grandson raised in the home, Franklin Helms, II; 16 grandchildren; numerous great- and great-great- grandchildren; and special friends, Linda Gatewood and Donna Syferd Helms.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 2 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Russell, Rev. Mike Welch and Mr. Lyle Niederbrach officiating.
