William Dwaine Lucas

William Dwaine Lucas, 73, beloved husband, father, Pa and uncle, went to be with our Lord on Aug. 30, 2024. He was born in Tyronza to parents, George and Betty Lucas. He married his best friend and soulmate, Judy A. Hailey, on March 25, 1972.

Dwaine was a dedicated husband, father, Pa, son, brother, uncle and friend. His love for Christ was inspiring to all around him. He truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family spending time with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all of his nieces and nephews.

Dwaine is survived by his wife of 54 years, Judy Lucas; two children, Jennifer Kaiser of Missouri and Larry Joe Lucas of Tyronza; two sisters, Nadine Booth of Magnolia and Angie Lucas of Tyronza. He will be deeply missed by four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Dwaine was preceded in death by his parents, George and Betty Lucas; two sisters, Judy Rogers and Sue Whatley; and one great-grandchild, Baylor Stidmon.

The family will receive visitors Saturday, Sept. 7, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., at Church of Christ in Tyronza. A memorial service will begin at 2 pm. with Chadwick Lucas officiating.

Wilson Funeral Home, Tyronza, is assisting the family with all arrangements and services.
