Charles Gray

Charles Gray, 79, of Elgin, Ill., formerly of Blytheville, passed away peacefully Friday, Aug. 30, 2024 at his home.

Charles was born in Blytheville to Robert and Isabelle Gann Gray. He was a truck driver. During his trucking career, Charles developed an interest in CB radio. His favorite hobby was to take the radios apart and rebuild them to his liking. He also enjoyed Indy car racing and was part of the team pit crew for years.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Gray, Jr.

Charles is survived by his loving wife, Linda Gray of the home; two sons, Todd Gray and Jason Gray; and one granddaughter, Emma Gray.
