Helen Renalle Suggs

Helen Renalle Suggs, 54, passed away Aug. 30, 2024, in Jonesboro. Born Aug. 26, 1970, in Manila, she was a proud graduate of Manila High School and remained a lifelong resident of the area.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Nathaniel and Virgie Lee Suggs; her sisters, Johnnie Lee Williams and Shellie Jean Rayford; and her niece, Natalie Nicole Rayford.

She is survived by her sisters, Caffie Suggs of Manila, Robin Suggs of Manila, Mildred (Lennie) McLaurin of Gosnell, Tina Marie Suggs of Blytheville, Renee Suggs of Manila, Christina (Lupe) Lopez of Manila, Mavis (James) Duncan of Kentucky; and her nephew, Michael C. Williams of Olive Branch, Miss.

A graveside service will be held for Helen at Whiteside Cemetery on Thursday, Sept. 5, at 10 a.m., with Bro. Tony Huffman officiating. Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola is assisting the family with the arrangements. Helen’s memory will be cherished by her family, friends and all who knew her in the Manila community.
