Mozetta Allen

Mozetta Allen, 64, of Blytheville, passed away Monday, Aug. 12, 2024, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. She was born Nov. 20, 1959, to the late Eddie McRay and Georgia Carr in Osceola.

Mozetta was a dedicated wife to Mr. Archie Allen of Blytheville and was of the Baptist faith. She worked passionately as a preschool teacher dedicating her time to several of her beloved students.

In addition to her parents, Eddie and Georgia McRay, Mozetta was preceded in death by three brothers, Joe Eddie McRay Jr., William Carl McRay and Anthony McRay, as well as one sister, Linda Kay McRay.

Mozetta leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Archie Allen of Blytheville; two daughters, Tiffany McRay and Markeeta McRay, both of Blytheville; three brothers, Theoplis McRay of Blytheville, Larry (Vanessa) McRay of Killeen, Texas, and Jeffrey (Brenda) McRay of Blytheville; three sisters, Francis Newton of St. Louis, Mo., Edna (Alfred) Holten of Blytheville and Irene (Dwight )Burks; three grandchildren, Keyshun Peoples, Ke’Shunna McRay and Ma’Jorr Wayne, all of Blytheville, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services for Mozetta Allen will be held at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville on Saturday, Aug. 24, with the visitation from 9-10 a.m. and the funeral to follow at 10 a.m. Rev. Burton Furlow will be officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Blytheville.

Arrangements are under the care of Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville.
