Jackie Laverne Dobbins

Jackie Laverne Dobbins, 84, passed away July 30, 2024, in Solgohachia, Ark. She was born Aug. 17, 1939, to the late Fidel Delrosa and Ruby Lee Burgess.

She is survived by her sons, Virgil Dobbins Jr. of Dyess, Velma (Sandra) Dobbins of Atkins and Gerald Dobbins of Dyess; two daughters, Lisa (Jack) Clark of Solgohachia and Diane Wilbanks of Blackwell; sisters, Betty (Jerry) Pinotta of Illinois and Mary Sanchez of Ohio; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Jackie was preceded in death by her father, Fidel Delrosa; mother, Ruby Lee Burgess; sons, Edward Lee Dobbins and Larry Dobbins; brothers, Edbert Delrosa, Jessie Delrosa, and Johnny Delrosa; and grandchildren, April Dobbins and Lana Dobbins.

The family will receive visitors Friday, Aug. 16, beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, located at 1323 W. Keiser Ave., Osceola, AR 72370. A funeral service to celebrate Jackie’s life will commence at 2 p.m. with Bro. Terry Turner officiating. Following the service, burial will take place at Dyess Cemetery.
