Bobbie Jean Threlkeld

Bobbie Jean Threlkeld, 92, of Jonesboro, former longtime Manila resident, passed away Friday, July 19, 2024, in Jonesboro. Born in McCrory, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Elmer and Flora Nolley Threlkeld and had lived most of her life in Manila. Bobbie Jean was a 1949 graduate of Manila High School and later taught school in the Manila Public School System for many years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Barney Franklin Threlkeld and J.E. Threlkeld, and one sister, Annabelle Biship.

Survivors include; three nieces, Barbara Scott, Carolyn Newton and Sherry Hansch; and four nephews, Jerry Barrentine, David Barrentine, Gary Pierce and Robin Pierce.

Burial in Manila Cemetery will be under the direction of Howard Funeral Service. All services will be private. Friends may sign the online guest register at www.HowardFuneralService.com.
