Lucinda Smith

Lucinda Smith, 85, of Blytheville, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro. She was born Nov. 16, 1938, to the late Sanford Cunningham and the late Olie Starling in Weir, Miss. Lucinda was the widow of the late Robert Smith and was of the Pentecostal faith.

In addition to her parents, Sanford and Olie Cunningham, Lucinda was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Smith; one brother, Curtis Cunningham; and one sister, Velma Cunningham.

Lucinda is survived by her daughter, Rosemary Clanton of Hampton, Ga.; two brothers, Sanford Cunningham Jr. of Blytheville and John Cunningham of Fort Myers, Fla.; two sisters, Onterio Cunningham of Blytheville and Ruth Cunningham of Fort Myers, Fla.; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 5, from 5-7 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 6, at 10 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville with Pastor Johnson Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Blytheville.

Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville will be in charge of the arrangements.
