Glenda Myrl Hamilton

Glenda Myrl Hamilton, 77, of Osceola, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2024. She was born Nov. 30, 1946, in Caraway to James “Buck” and Lillie Terry. Glenda worked at Osceola Shoe Factory for many years and retired from American Greetings. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and playing Bunko.

Glenda is survived by her two daughters, Tabitha Dixon (Mark) and Tonia Dotters (TC); grandchildren, Gunner Ault, Justin Ford, Felisha Ford and Michael Ford; 11 great-grandchildren; two special nieces, Christie Elam, Kim Sneed; brother-in-law, Donnie Williams.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ann Williams; and the father of her children, Houston Gene Hamilton.

The family wants to give a special thanks to Elite Hospice and the Manila Nursing Home staff for their kindness, love and support.

A visitation will be held at Roller-Swift Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 12, from 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held Thursday, June 13, at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Caraway Cemetery in Caraway.
