James Edward Richmond

James Edward Richmond, of Osceola, passed away June 7, 2024, at South Mississippi County Regional Medical Center in Osceola at the age of 54. He was born to Bobby Richmond Sr. and Henrietta Knighten on July 24, 1969, in Osceola.

James, known for his dedication and service, proudly served in the Army.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Tonya Richmond of the home; his father, Bobby Richmond Sr. of Benton Harbor, Mich.; his mother, Henrietta Knighten of Osceola; one son, James Todd Richmond of Jonesboro; two daughters, Stephanie Doss and Nicole Doss, both of Jonesboro; two brothers, Bobby Richmond Jr. and George Richmond, both of Osceola; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The family will receive visitors wishing to pay their respect to James on Friday, June 14, from 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, Osceola. A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 15, 10 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, Osceola, with Rev. Dave Cody officiating. A committal service will follow in Whiteside Cemetery, Osceola.
