Elizabeth Pauline Presley passed away peacefully of natural causes on June 3, 2024, in Eureka, Kan., at the age of 87. Born on August 24, 1936, to the late Bert and Bonnie Hardesty, Pauline grew up in a nurturing home filled with love and faith, which she carried forward throughout her life.

Pauline was preceded in death by her loving husband, James F. White, with whom she shared a life full of joy and companionship. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Bonnie Hardesty; stepmother, Grace Hardesty; siblings Lafe, William, Zana and Rowena, Gary, Mary and Joseph; and her beloved daughter, Bonnie White, and her cherished granddaughter, Dayna Wilson.

As a devout Catholic, Pauline’s faith was a guiding light in her life. She found great solace and strength in reading her Bible and embraced the teachings of her faith with a compassionate heart. Her commitment to her religion provided her with a profound sense of purpose and fulfillment.

Pauline’s intellectual curiosity led her to be a voracious reader, always seeking to learn and understand more about the world around her. Her conversations were rich with insight and wisdom, and she had a remarkable ability to connect with people on a deep and meaningful level.

Generosity was second nature to Pauline. She was always the first to offer help to those in need, whether it was a kind word, a home-cooked meal, or a helping hand. Her legacy of kindness has left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her.

The void left by Pauline’s passing will be felt by many, yet her spirit will live on through the memories she created with her loved ones. Her guidance, laughter and love will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have been a part of her life.

Pauline’s life was a testament to the power of love and the strength of family. As we say farewell to this remarkable woman, we take solace in the knowledge that her legacy will endure through the generations she has so profoundly impacted.
