Arthur Dale Carter Sr. was called to his heavenly home on May 25, 2024, at the age of 78, in Little Rock. He was born Oct. 19, 1945, to the late Willie and June Carter in Stuttgart.

A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp, Dale carried the discipline and honor from his military service into every aspect of his life. He served his community with distinction as a police officer, and later his entrepreneurial spirit led him to ventures as a salesman, farmer, and the respected owner of Carter Appraisal Service. It was in 1980 that Dale truly found his calling when he embraced the path of ministry. As a former pastor of Harvest Fellowship PCG in Lonoke, Dale shepherded his flock with love, humility, and a deep respect for all of God’s creation. His guidance and wisdom also enriched the PCG Arkansas State Board.

Dale’s legacy of kindness and dedication is carried on by his beloved wife, Judy P. Carter, of the home. He is also survived by one son, Dale Carter Jr. of Conway; two cherished sisters, Mary Lou Chippia and Betty Cooper, both of California, as well as a host of grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his daughter, Geneine Morehead, five brothers and one sister.

The community is invited to pay their respects and celebrate Dale’s life as the family receives visitors on Saturday, June 1, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Harvest Fellowship PCG, 202 Waggoner St., Lonoke, AR 72086. The funeral service will begin at 12 p.m., officiated by Pastor Jonathan Tullos and Bishop Phil Redding. Interment will follow at Hamilton Cemetery, 1960 Old Pineywood Rd., Carlisle, AR 72024, where Dale will be laid to rest.
