Juanita Gatlin

Juanita Gatlin passed away at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro on May 23, 2024, at the age of 78. She was born to Robert and Frankie Williams on March 2, 1946, in Joiner.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Gatlin Sr.; mother; Frankie Williams; father; Robert Williams Sr.; sister, Keitha Williams; brother, Robert Williams Jr.; grandson, Willie Tobar Jr.; great-grandson, Keith (KJ) Densmore.

She was a member of Powerhouse Evangelic Outreach COGIC, under the leadership of the late Bobby L. Hayes Sr.

She is survived by three sons and four daughters, Frankie Williams, Leroy Smith Jr., Terry Smith, Tonya Tunsall (Ernest), Tyrone Smith (Alice), Felicia Smith and Michelle Smith. She also leaves 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; seven sisters, Dorothy Jackson, Mary Williams, Bernice Williams, Mamie Mosley, Jewel Faye Price, Linda Sapp Ellison and Pamela Williams; three brothers, Larry Williams, Michael Williams and Stanford Williams. She also leaves a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 1, from 10-10:55 a.m. at Macedonia M.B. Church, 1342 State Highway 42, Turrell, AR 72384. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Paradise Gardens in Edmondson.
