Monday Morning the Law Enforcement Torch Run ran past the Gosnell Schools, after running earlier in the day past the Blytheville Schools. 

The Blytheville Police Department released the following statement: “An international movement, building relationships, making friends. These are just a few things that can best describe the Law Enforcement Torch Run. The Blytheville Police Department was honored to kick off this years LETR for Special Olympics this morning by carrying the Flame of Hope.

“The flame that symbolizes courage, perseverance and the inclusion movement taking place in Arkansas and all across the world.

“Thank you to Blytheville Primary School and Gosnell School District for having the kiddos outside to cheer us on, and a big thank you Special Olympics Athletes and families that cheer us on year after year!”
