Doris Kay Carter

Doris Kay Carter was born Nov. 2, 1976, to Edward Guy Carter and Linda Kay Armstrong Carter. She departed this life May 1, 2024, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro at the age of 47. She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda, her father, Edward, and grandmother, Mae-Willis Simpson.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories two daughters, Lameshia Carter of Blytheville and Brianna Wilson of Gosnell; one son, Jordan Wilson of Gosnell; one sister, Shirl Henderson of Blythewood, S.C.; three brothers, Steven Walker of Bloomington, Ind., Samuel Carter of Osceola and Nilijah Carter of Washington, D.C.; seven grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 18, from 10-11 a.m. at Westside Ministries, 1301 W. Semmes Street, Osceola. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Sandy Ridge Cemetery, Burdette.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wolfe Brothers Funeral, 634 W. Main Street, Blytheville, AR.
