Carolyn Hicks

Carolyn Hicks, 72, of Blytheville, passed away Monday, April 15, 2024 at her home.

Carolyn was born in El Dorado, Kan., to Lawrence and Peggy Campbell Clifford. She worked for Ark-Mo Power for many years before retiring. She went on to work at Nucor Steel Arkansas where she later retired. Carolyn was an active volunteer for Relay for Life and played an important role in the Rolling for a Cure relay team. She was an exceptional cook and enjoyed watching NCIS and HGTV. Carolyn’s family was most important in her life. She adored her sons and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Carolyn was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of 48 years, Clayburn Hicks of the home; sons, Brice Hicks and his wife Fisher and Troy Hicks and his wife TJ, all of Blytheville; grandchildren, Dylan Hicks and his wife Emily, Landon Hicks and his fiance Adleigh Rouse, Tanner Hicks and Tiffany Thaxton; great-grandchildren, Mason and McKinley; brother, Stephen Clifford and his wife Peggy of Belpre, Ohio; and her special caregivers, Jenisa Jaramillo and Doreen Gray.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 17, at 11 a.m. at Dogwood Mausoleum with Bro. Gary Hyde officiating. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
