Earl Glen Woods

Earl Glen Woods, 85, of Tyronza, entered into eternal rest on the 3rd of April, 2024 in Memphis, Tenn. Born on the 8th of October, 1938, Earl led a life marked by devotion to his family and community.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Annie Woods; his sons, Jeffery Woods and spouse Cheryl, Carl Woods, Joseph Woods, Judah Woods and spouse Ronda, and Michael Woods and spouse Kristina; his daughters, Anneta McKeon and spouse Kevin, and Connie Vinson and spouse Danny. Earl’s memory will be cherished by his brothers, Jamie Woods Jr., Tommy Wood, Dickie Woods, Dennis Wood; and his sisters, Janis Wood and LaDonna Smith. His legacy continues through his 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Earl reunites in the hereafter with his father Jamie Woods, mother Thelma Woods, beloved son Peter Woods, and brother Willie Joe Wood, who all preceded him in death.

The family invited friends and loved ones to a visitation at Wilson Funeral Home, Tyronza, on Saturday, April 6, from 9-10 a.m. Funeral services commenced at the same location at 10 a.m., with the final commendation and farewell at Tyronza Cemetery.

Wilson Funeral Home had the honor of conducting the services for Mr. Woods. His gentle presence and warm-hearted nature will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
