Alice Johnson

Alice Johnson, 59, of Blytheville, passed away March 30, 2024, at her residence. She was born May 16, 1964, to the late W.C. Meadows and the late Ruby Lee Brock in Osceola.

Alice was a loving mother to five children and worked as a school nurse for the KIPP School in Blytheville. She was also of the Christian faith.

She was preceded by her parents, W.C. and Ruby Meadows; one daughter, Gail Johnson; two brothers, James Meadows and Johnny Meadows; and one sister, Anita Meadows.

Alice leaves to cherish her memory to her son, Nazaree Meadows of Jonesboro; three daughters, Maria (Corrie) Meadows-Thomas, Alicia Johnson, Ka’Dashianna Johnson, all of Blytheville; two brothers, David Meadows of Blytheville and Ricky Meadows of Osceola; four sisters, Trudy Jones and Jane Jones, both of Osceola, Tina Keyes and Shelly Meadows, both of Blytheville; as well as 15 grandchildren.

Visitation for Alice will be Friday, April 12, at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville from 6-8 p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, April 13, at Wilson Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Burial will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Blytheville, with Bishop Nathaniel Ellis officiating.
