David Marion Murray

David Marion Murray, 69, of Manila, passed from this life Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at his home. Born in Blytheville, he was the son of the late James Samuel and Macie Lee Johnson Murray. He was a lifelong resident of Manila and a 1972 graduate of Manila High School. David also attended Mississippi County Community College. He was a welding supervisor at Southworth for over 24 years and was also employed by Big Lake Country Club as a groundskeeper. David was an avid golfer and Arkansas Razorbacks fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Richardson and Barbara Riggs.

Survivors Include his fiance, Charlene Burnett of the home; one son, John Murray of Batesville; three brothers, Jacky Murray of Jonesboro, Jimmy Murray and Benny Murray, both of Lost Cane; two sisters, Mary Williams of Shady Grove and JoAnn Bishop of Farmington. David also leaves a grandson, Wyatt James Murray, and a great-granddaughter, Winter Rose Murray.
