Manila shelter receives donations

Tammy Walker, Manila animal control officer, expressed her appreciation to the Woody Townsend family for their recent donation of seven raised dog beds for the pound. The dog pound houses between one and eight dogs at a time.

“What a blessing it is for them to do this for the animals,” she said. “All donations are greatly appreciated. We had one donation of food in memory of Piper and another donation of dog food from the Lassater family within the last two weeks.

Some of the items needed include blankets, treats, bleach, Dawn dish soap, collars, leashes and of course dog food.
