The 2024 Northeast Arkansas Rural Business Development Conference will be held Friday, March 22.

The conference will be held from 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. in Room T212 in the Allied Technologies Building on the Arkansas Northeastern College Blytheville campus.

The conference theme is “Reimagining Rural Arkansas: Pathways to Growth and Success.” It will bring together approximately 20 private, quasi-state, state, federal and non-profit organizations to provide participants with needed resources to grow their existing businesses and support their local communities.

Topics will include but are not limited to, building strategic partnerships, evaluating and securing capital, how to maintain and transfer local business enterprises and assets, obtaining technical assistance for small businesses and selling goods and services to the government and corporate sector.

The keynote speaker will be Dr. Jeff Standridge, managing director of The Conductor. This free conference will include breakfast and lunch for on-site participants.
