Jacob Montrez King
Jacob Montrez King entered this life on Tuesday, Dec. 14, 1999. He was the third child of Deacon Eric King and Missionary Beverly King of Blytheville. Jacob’s love for Christ was developed early in life. From his youth he was a member of Tabernacle Church of God In Christ, under the leadership of his grandfather, the Late Supt. Willie G. Beal. There he accepted Christ and served faithfully as a member and drummer under current leadership.
Jacob was a member of the Blytheville High School graduating Class of 2018. He was known as a gentle giant, and one who loved the Lord, his family and his friends. His passions included cooking for his family and having discussions about God. He will forever be remembered for his affectionate smile and his wise words.
Jacob departed this life on Friday, March 15, 2024. He leaves to cherish his memories his parents, Eric and Beverly King of the home; his grandparents, Mr. Henry and Mrs. Adline King of Blytheville, Missionary Ruthie Beal of Blytheville; one brother, Eric King Jr. (Charity) of Maumelle; one sister, Miracle Walker (Craig) of Blytheville; one niece, Naomi King of Maumelle; two god brothers, Nathan King and Jaziah McDougal; one god sister; Marionna Smith; four cousin-brothers, Darnell Beal, Jehovah Beal, Cristian Beal and Aaron Beal. He also leaves a host of extended family including aunties, uncles, cousins and friends.
Jacob will be remembered for his kind heart and warm personality. He touched the lives of many with his infectious smile and caring nature. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Saturday, March 23, from 12-2 p.m. at Tabernacle Church of God in Christ, Blytheville. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., with Superintendent Billy D. Davis of Blytheville District officiating. Jacob will be laid to rest at Memory Gardens, Blytheville.
