WEST MEMPHIS - The Osceola junior girls finished in fourth place Monday at the West Memphis Junior High Invite at Hamilton Shultz Stadium.

The Junior Lady Seminoles scored a total of 54 points, well behind first place West Memphis West (147 points), Forrest City (141.5 points) and West Helena Central (88 points). The Marked Tree Junior Lady Indians finished fifth with a total of 47 points.

Osceola had its only top finish in the Shot Put which was won by Lei’mah Hooks’s toss of 29-9. Her teammate Wendy Flie finished fourth with a toss of 25-8.

Hooks and Flie also scored points in the discus toss with fifth and seventh place finishes.

Osceola had two third place finishes in the 4x200 Meter relay (2:02.89) and the 4x400 Meter relay (5:38.94). Osceola also had a fourth place finish in the 4x100 Meter relay (58.66 seconds).

Osceola also scored in the 200 Meter dash with Keissance Jones fourth place finish (29.9 seconds) and Ny’Asya Richmond finished in eighth place. Jones also finished fourth in the 400 Meter dash. Kamya Coleman also scored with an eighth place finish in the 800 Meter run and Kei-ziyah Woodson and Shamiracle Butler both scored in the 300 Meter hurdles with fifth and eighth place finishes.

Marked Tree had a one-two finish in the long jump as Johnna Jackson took first with a leap of 14-3 and Amya Nesbitt took second with a distance of 14-1.

Three girls scored points in the discus with London Adams finishing third, Alyssa McGuire finishing fourth and Kay-Lee Fink was sixth. McGuire also scored points in the Shot Put with a toss of 25-4 good for sixth place.

Marked Tree also scored points in the 4x800 Meter relay (third place) and sixth place finishes in both the 4x100 Meter and 4x200 Meter relays.
