Howard Lee McNeal

Howard Lee McNeal was born Dec. 27, 1946, to Fredrick D. McNeal and Maranda Askew McNeal in Rotan, AR. He departed this life Sunday, Feb. 25, 2024 at his home in Osceola. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Howard was a retired principal and a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity.

He is survived by his daughter; Holly Lacey Kimble of Marion; two sons, Jerald Cobbs and Kelvin Lett, both Chicago, Ill.; two sisters, Dorothy Mae Taylor and Tisher Lett, both of Chicago, Ill.; two brothers; Fredrick McNeal Jr. of Chicago, Ill., and James McNeal of Hayti, Mo.; six grandchildren; and he also leaves a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11a.m. Saturday, March 2, at St. John Full Gospel Church, 414 S. Broadway, Osceola. Interment will be at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola.
