MANILA - Manila jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead and never looked back and went on to defeat Osceola 44-13 Saturday at Manila Gymnasium.

Osceola went without a field goal the entire first half, with all of its points coming from the free throw line. Manila led 18-3 after one period and 31-6 at the half. With the “sportsmanship clock’ running the entire second half, the Manila lead would grow to 43-8 by the end of the third quarter.
Osceola outscored the Lady Lions 5-1 in the final period to set the final score of 44-13.
Madysen Deeds and Lucy Farmer led the Manila attack with 12 points each. Jenna LaRose added eight points. Deeds grabbed eight rebounds as well for Manila which improved to 5-1 in Conference 3A-3 play and 15-7 overall.
Osceola, which got eight points and five rebounds from junior forward Nevah Jones, fell to 1-11 overall and 1-7 in conference action.
