Ricky Leroy Green
Ricky Leroy Green, 60, of Manila, died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024, at NEA Baptist in Jonesboro. He was born in Michigan City, Ind., to Edgar and Betty Byrd Greene.
For the first half of his life, Ricky worked as a farmer and later in life drove a truck for neighboring farms. Ricky retired from truck driving to pursue his true calling and start his own good used merchandise business. He was a miniature hobbyist and a connoisseur of Little Debbie snacks. If you needed help, he was just a phone call away. His family was his life. Ricky was number 1 for countless people.
Ricky was preceded in death by one son, Robert Green; his parents; and one sister, Diane Gilley.
Ricky is survived by his wife, Loretta; seven children, Robin Angel (Jake) of Blytheville, Levi Green of Manila, Ray Green (Caroline) of Hawaii, Chris Martinez (Julie) of Michigan, Robyn Crumbaugh of Memphis, Tenn., John Gray of Missouri and David Gray of Waldron; four brothers, Charlie Greene, Gary Greene, Larry Greene, Joey Greene; two sisters, Barbara Tacker and Vicki Miller; 12 grandchildren, Liza, Amanda, Issac, Rodrick, Jackson, Dakota, Candice, Joshua, Haylie, Gavin, Liviana and Marvin. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Catherine Bradford.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Don Gilley officiating. The family will receive friends at 11 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza. Condolences may be expressed at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
