Ora Mae Robinson
Ora Mae Robinson, 71, departed this life Jan. 9, 2024, at 2:52 a.m. at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. She was born Feb. 12, 1952, in Osceola to the late Willie Albert Porter and Annie Bell Thomas Henderson. Ora grew up to marry the late Jimmy Robinson and worked for Borg Warner for 20 years until its closing. She then worked as a certified nursing assistant. She loved to help and serve her family and friends and was strong in her belief in the Lord.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Ora was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Michelle Johnson of Blytheville; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Pearlie Mae Foreman and Fannie Mae Burks, both of Blytheville; and one brother, Percy McRay of Sacramento, Calif.
She is survived by her son, Robert Johnson of Jonesboro; three daughters, Pamela Johnson of Tulsa, Okla., Sharon (Kenneth) Nash and Lakeesha Johnson, both of Blytheville; two sisters, Bobbie Cooper of Key Largo, Fla., and Emma Jean Henderson (Tony)-Green of Little Rock; four grandchildren that she adopted and raised as her own, Martez Johnson of Kennett, Mo. , Latesha Johnson of Memphis, Alexandria Wilson of Memphis, and Dushawndre Johnson of Kennett, Mo.; as well as seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation for Ora will be held Saturday Jan. 13, at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville from 1-2 p.m. with the funeral to follow. Burial will be at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette with pastor Leroy Nash officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville will be in charge of the arrangements.
