There will be a community meeting for the City of Blytheville from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 20. The event will be held at the Blytheville Public Library, 200 North 5th Street.
It will be hosted by Bishop R.L. Jones, city councilman, Ward 3.
Jones said the topic will be getting the community involved in cleaning up the town and talking about what citizens can do to help lower the crime. Citizens will be able to comment. Comments will be limited to five minutes.
A second meeting will be held on Saturday, Jan. 27, at the same time and location.
