Billy Wayne Ball Sr.

Billy Wayne Ball Sr., 86, of Cherokee Village, passed away Dec. 12, 2023, at White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born Aug. 10, 1937, in El Dorado. Billy became an avid hunter and fisherman and loved sports, especially football and basketball. He was quite active in the American Legion in Blytheville, after serving his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Billy was a manager of a liquor distribution center and a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Paragould. He was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest Noel and Helen Louise Allen Ball.

Survivors include his wife, Trula Jean Stanfill Ball; sons, Billy Wayne Ball Jr. (Sarina) and Michael Ball (Kimberly); daughters, Katrina Holmes (John) and Michelle Shire; stepdaughter, Sharal Henderson; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two step-granddaughters and four step-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Linda Camell, Dorothy Self, and Cindy Mixer; many other relatives and good friends.

The family will have private services with military honors.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army would be most appreciated.
