BLYTHEVILLE – The Blytheville Junior Chicks outscored Osceola by nine points in the fourth quarter to win going away, 47-33, last week.

Damarious Smith paced BJHS with 14 points as the host team led 12-10 at the end of the first period and 26-17 at halftime.

Osceola rallied to within five at the end of three quarters, but the Jr. Chicks, behind Smith’s six points in the stanza, put the Jr. Seminoles away with the nine-point edge in the final period of play.

Yayhr Gonzalez and Treyvon Orr added eight points each for Blytheville, while James Riley chipped in six on two three-pointers.

Osceola’s Fabious Hughes tied Smith with game-high honors, scoring four of his 14 from the free throw line.

Dedrick Coleman scored six points and Marvel Carr five for the Junior Seminoles.
