The Mississippi County Regional Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting for the grand re-opening of Mailboxes & Beyond on Friday at noon. The business is located at 103 West Main Street in Blytheville.
Mailboxes & Beyond opened for business on Sept. 26, 15 years ago. The business which started primarily as a shipping business now has much more to offer. The recent remodeling of the building included taking a wall down and opening up the entire store.
Owner Tobye McClanahan expressed her appreciation to the Chamber, her staff and her customers.
“We are celebrating 15 years, the remodeling of the business and getting ready for the next 15,” McClanahan said. “Our goal is to be a one stop shop and make things easy for our customers. If it is big or small, we can pack it, print it and ship it.”
McClanahan said they got into printing by accident but it soon became a big part of their service. The gift shop was added two years ago and continues to grow with a wide range of gifts for the entire family.
Anything from a business card to a wall size banner can be printed. Personalized gift items are available.
Refreshments were served and drawings were held throughout the day.
McClanahan and her staff are looking forward to the holidays and have an assortment of Christmas items ready for the season.
