Marked Tree (9-2) will hit the road for the third week in a row as the Indians will travel to face Bigelow (12-0) in a semi-final contest with the Panthers. The winner will square off with the winner of the EPC-Carlisle game for the Class 2A state title.

The Indians are coming off a 28-14 win over Murfreesboro that saw Ken Carter pass for two touchdowns and run for touchdowns for Marked Tree. T.J. Hodges rushed for 130 yards as Cam Marshall and J.J. Risper each had a touchdown catch. Jonah Walker, Carter and Ja'Kaymion Williams each had an interception for the Indians' defense.

Bigelow rides a 12-game winning streak into the game beating Des Arc 34-14 Friday. The Panthers are averaging 36.1 points a game on offense as their defense is allowing 13.8 points a game. Bigelow last lost to Earle 28-12 in the first round of the 2022 state playoffs.

Senior quarterback Rhett Neumeier (6-2, 195) powers the Panthers offense. Junior running back Jayden Dunlap (6-0, 230) also Excels at linebacker. Carter Alexander is also a key at running back and linebacker for the Panthers.
