– Three Blytheville businesses recently reported receiving counterfeit bills.

Both Taco Bell and Domino’s Pizza have received counterfeit money totaling $260. Oct. 13, $200 in fake bills were passed at Taco Bell by a black female who was ordering through the drive thru. Four days later, a white male who was accompanied by a white female, in a silver car paid for their order with $60 (six $10 bills) in counterfeit money at the Domino’s drive thru.

While there was little information gathered for the Taco Bell incident, Domino’s employees provided a license plate number for the vehicle which had been at its drive thru. Police used that to determine the owner’s residence and identified the driver and passenger. According to Lt. Jason Simpkins’s report, Robert McCone and Kimberly Bailey are listed as suspects for the Domino’s crime.

In addition, a Farmer’s Bank and Trust employee identified a counterfeit $20 bill during a deposit transaction Oct. 19. A report was filed and the bank still has possession of the fake money.
